My good friend and creator of CollectionDX has a book coming out for all you Japanese Toy collecting fans. It’s called Tokyo Underground: Toy and Design Culture in Tokyo. The book will officially be released on September 25th. It is a joint effort between Josh Bernard (CollectionDX) and Bryan Flynn (Super 7) and is a joint venture between CollectionDX and Super7.
Now I don’t have my copy yet but I have seen the pre-press mock up and it is nice. Been wanting to go to Japan to buy the really cool stuff or just interested in the culture in general then this is the book for you.
Congrats Josh! I am very happy for you. You faithful readers can head over to the Amazon link below and check it out and pre-order the book.

Well I was able to get to the bookstore and read my copy of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. How was it? In a few words,Very Good.
I really do not want to spoil it for those that have not read it yet so I won’t go into any detail here. J.K. Rowling really knew where she was taking this from the very beginning. The series concludes in a very satisfying manner and did not disappoint me. That’s important, not disappointing me after getting me to invest my time and emotion into a 7 book series. Too often a story ( be it movie or book) will cheap out at the end, making me feel like I wasted my time and this doesn’t.
All the answers are here, nothing is left out. Though I think she will continue to surprise most readers till the very end. Be warned, once you start reading it you will have a hard time putting it down. It is a very compelling read, I was on the edge of my seat till the turn of the very last page.
Thanks J.K., it’s been a great story.

Wow that was quick. Well apparently Book 7 for Harry Potter has been leaked early and already can be found on the web already in electronic format. Really surprised by this in that previous releases they have kept them under such a tight lock and key till release time. Ah well I am sure the the Potterheads are in line for a midnight release anyway. I’ll wait till the next trip to the bookstore myself, now to just remain spoiler free till then.
