Well I was able to get to the bookstore and read my copy of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. How was it? In a few words,Very Good.
I really do not want to spoil it for those that have not read it yet so I won’t go into any detail here. J.K. Rowling really knew where she was taking this from the very beginning. The series concludes in a very satisfying manner and did not disappoint me. That’s important, not disappointing me after getting me to invest my time and emotion into a 7 book series. Too often a story ( be it movie or book) will cheap out at the end, making me feel like I wasted my time and this doesn’t.
All the answers are here, nothing is left out. Though I think she will continue to surprise most readers till the very end. Be warned, once you start reading it you will have a hard time putting it down. It is a very compelling read, I was on the edge of my seat till the turn of the very last page.
Thanks J.K., it’s been a great story.

Wow that was quick. Well apparently Book 7 for Harry Potter has been leaked early and already can be found on the web already in electronic format. Really surprised by this in that previous releases they have kept them under such a tight lock and key till release time. Ah well I am sure the the Potterheads are in line for a midnight release anyway. I’ll wait till the next trip to the bookstore myself, now to just remain spoiler free till then.

Just got done catching up at Neil Gaiman’s blog and he has an excellent post up about the impacts of creative types not protecting their work after they are dead and gone. Not a subject many like to talk about, but one that needs addressing if you do ANYTHING creative. You can find the article here.

For those that may have been familiar with the time traveler but haven’t checked out the newer series, you SHOULD! This is the third season appearing on the Sci-Fi Channel. Previous seasons have reintroduced classic villans like the Daleks and Cybermen. This season promises an even bigger Villans return ……… I don’t want to ruin the surprise so I will leave it at that.
The show is crafted in such a way that if you know nothing about the history of the Doctor you can jump in and enjoy, but if you are familiar with the history you will really dig this series as it takes the original series continuity into consideration.
Doctor Who is currently running it’s third season on the Sci-Fi Channel, Fridays at 9:00pm.
It’s a lot of fun and something the whole family can enjoy.

After being online and plugged in for so many years I have finally decided to open up my own corner on the web. This is a work in progress but you can expect my fan boy like opinions on all things pop culture. Interests include movies, comics, toys, technology and just about anything else I deem cool.
I am a writer and currently do reviews for CollectionDX. You can find links to all of my reviews here.
