Early on Friday morning I walked down the street
Early on Friday morning I walked down the street to the fruit stand where Vernon sells both apples and oranges. Years ago Vernon inherited 10 acres of land from his great-grandfather and he has used it to grow these types of fruit. I often times see Vernon on his acreage driving around in his Used Jeep. He drives around and picks the fruit himself for his fruit stand. The reason I had to get over to Vernon’s fruit stand early was because he closes up at nine o’clock in the morning. He has another job and the fruit selling is only a part time job/hobby.
