A lot of folks own them and if you have a friend that works in a garage or is educated about vehicles they’ll probably be more than willing to help you out quickly, knowing someone like that is always an advantage however make sure you give them a couple of cups of tea while they are helping you out.
If you are lucky then you might be able to find a set of coil spring compressors which you can borrow this would prevent you having to borrow any and make it a little cheaper for you to fix, failing this you can always rent a set if you’re not planning to use them ever again then there is little point in you wasting cash on buying some compressors that will never be seen again after they have fulfilled their task. Even better you could possibly take it to a garage for them to repair the problem for you it will cost slightly more but at least you will know they’ve accomplished the job properly.
In areas where the roads are uneven springs in vehicles often go because it is a lot tougher on them, in places like this the conventional car is a truck and if you’re trying to repair the springs on this then you will want a heavy duty spring compressor because a smaller set would make it very tough to remove them and could become dangerous. Similarly don’t try to remove the springs with out the proper instruments because it might end in an accident.
