Questions you Should Ask Before a Building Inspection

Firstly, when purchasing a building inspection always hire an inspector that is fully insured. This is one of the most important factors that needs to be determined before you select a building consultant in Australia. Particularly in NSW - you have the right to request proof of a certificate of currency when approaching any contractor.
Secondly - Is the inspector fully qualified? Due to the deregulation of the Building Consultant industry in NSW, you need to be extremely cautious in who you hire when requesting building inspections in Sydney. Ensure that your building inspection consultant has all the correct qualifications and experience.
Last but not least - what tools do they use to detect pest infestation. At the very least a Building Inspection company needs to be using Thermal Cameras to detect pests in the house you are buying. BIS uses state of the art thermal imaging in order to detect pests and their eggs.
